The above pictures show a random collection of Architectural Models ranging from the basic to the complex. To help you choose what fits your needs best, we offer a few categories of model types that most projects can be classified under. They are listed in ascending order of cost.
A Study Model typically is made of lower cost materials such as Matboard in favor of keeping your expenses low and to allow for design modifications to be made by the client. (It can be cut and modified by you with an Exacto knife). This type of model usually has a simplified base and no landscaping. Landscaping of course can be specified and added.
A Detailed Study Model is often made of the same material listed above and is usually more refined featuring some layers or depth such as back filled windows for contrast. Typically two or three colors are used. This makes for a nice medium cost model that is often used for presentations. Same specifications on base as above.
For the ultimate presentation or sales purpose a Museum Quality Model is a must. All components are laser-cut acrylic multi layered, etched and painted to client provided specifications. Using Acrylic, windows can be made see-through to expose an interior. The base is usually landscaped featuring realistic custom made trees.
Regardless of model type, each project receives equal precision and attention to detail through our experience and the use of in-house lasercutting, milling and fabrication processes. We recognize that each project is unique and we are willing to meet any budgets in mind.
